Today was first proper opportunity to print from my new polymers. I think it went rather well.
I'm really keen to print the first colour of my giraffe and rabbit illustration, but I need more paper to do that. Today's prints were just done on standard office paper, as they were just a test.
Be aware that if you try to print clean blocks of colour (as opposed to line) using double-sided tape to stick your plate to the block, you'll probably get tape marks showing in the print. In those cases spray adhesive gives a much cleaner print.
Poppy is a boutique letterpress studio, lovingly run by a team of 3: Louise, Adrian, and now we have also welcomed Eessu.
Our studio is home to a Chandler & Price 10 x 15, Collie's Paragon 10 x 15, Adana 8 x 5 and Adana 5 x 4.
